Sam the Gorilla Animation

This was a group project for the Character Animation module at Abertay University Dundee in 2nd Year as we each first design our own characters to make them "Believable", then when one character was chosen for each group, we would then work on animating the character in either the traditional method (drawn) or the digital method (using Flash). This animation was about a gorilla named Sam (the character design that I've worked on and has been chosen by other group members) who spends most of his time sitting around sleeping and eating in a public zoo, until a large ball enters his pit. The animation shows how Sam would react to an object that he has never seen before and this would then create a sense of characteristics which makes Sam a believable character to the audience. This animation is also credited to my other group members who worked on animating each 10 seconds scene for this project, and they are in the following: Gemma Pullinger Chris Dodds Tom Feist Wilson
